There are a number of spalled bricks that should be chased out and renewed. It is particularly bad on the inner side of the drive through car port area as a consequence of moisture penetration from the retaining wall adjacent.
We have a single brick built chimney stack rising from the ridge of the original property. This is heavily weathered. Lead flashings are weathered and worn, as is the brick pointing and metal flue cowling. The flaunching at the apex of the stack could not be fully seen from ground level and is likely to be perishing and require renewal.
