If the platform is saying you are not registered there could be a number of reasons for this.
These include:
- You are actually not registered on our platform and you're registered elsewhere but thought you were registered on Top Tradespeople. We often get emails and support enquiries from tradespeople who are registered on other platforms but try to login to Top Tradespeople.
- Your account has been disabled. If your account is not in good standing it might have been disabled. If we spot that someone is trying to spam our system by repeatedly creating similar profiles or spamming their profile with 'keywords' designed to try to make them rank higher in search engines beyond their company name or their location, or a perfectly reasonable description of their trades and services we may well disable your account. Whilst we appreciate the competitive nature of lead generation we also appreciate that it is important to consider the overall user experience of all of the visitors to Top Tradespeople. Whenever a tradesperson updates their profile we review changes to ensure that they are not attempting to abuse the system.
- Your account has been removed due to inactivity. From time to time we review the levels of activity of the members of our site and also whether profiles belong to a currently trading business. Homeowners come to our site looking to find tradespeople actively looking for new business, and therefore it is important that stale and old inactive businesses or businesses no longer active are removed from the site. If you have not used Top Tradespeople in over a year then the inability to login might also be as a result of having your account removed due to inactivity.
- You entered the wrong email. Someones members genuinely do forget which email they originally registered with and enter the wrong email. Try doing a password reset on the email address that you have. If this does not work you can contact us via our contact page with your business name and other identifying information and we can check to see if you have a profile with other information.
