Your profile is your own page within the Top Tradespeople website, where you can showcase your business, including customer reviews and ratings.
Customers will also be able to see the types of services that you provide and the areas that you cover with your business.
An attractive profile can make you stand out as a service provider when visitors to the website are looking to find someone to help them with their project. Some service providers leave their profiles incomplete and this is a mistake and a missed opportunity and you should complete as much of your profile as possible as soon as you join Top Tradespeople.
You can choose your Top Ten Services to show to customers so that they know that these are your primary services. Many tradespeople provide a range of services but specialise in some more than others. These areas where you consider yourself an expert should be chosen as your top services.
Additionally, if you have any qualifications or are a member of any trades associations, you can show these here to customers too - to make your business stand out from the crowd.
You can also showcase your work as a tradesperson and these will be displayed in an interactive slideshow for customers to see.
To edit your profile pages, go to 'My Profile' on the main menu and update your details. To upload some pictures of your work, go to 'My Pics' on the menu above and upload some photographs of your work with a description of each photo. Please do not upload images which include your phone number or website address. This is unfair to other service providers and against the terms of your membership, and could jeopardise your continued membership on Top Tradespeople. All images you upload should be owned by you and not subject to copyright restrictions.
When you go to quote on a job through Top Tradespeople, customers will get a link to your profile pages so that they can see what your business is about, so it's recommended that you build out this area of your Top Tradespeople account as quickly as possible.
