My settings is the place where you can update your information. You can update your email address, change your telephone number, change your address, change your postcode.
Here, you can change your password, and also change the number of miles you are prepared to travel to get to jobs.

If you do change anything ALWAYS remember to click the UPDATE button at the bottom of the page to save any changes otherwise nothing will be updated.
You cannot change your username as this is something which is permanent and will be used by customers to check your reviews. You can also use your username to promote your business in the Top TradesPeople Tradesman Directory as your username forms part of your profile page in the directory.

Your password is encrypted and stored on our secure server to prevent identification by anyone. If you lose your password ask for a new one when you go to login.

You can change your 'jobs radius' in 'My Areas' at any time by simply selecting a different jobs radius. You can increase your jobs radius up to 100 miles and we will tell you about jobs to that distance. If you spot a job that is further afield than this and you fancy quoting please call us on 0845 519 0028 and we can manually send you the job lead for you to buy. Remember to click the UPDATE button too or your details will not be changed.
Your jobs radius is the distance that you have said that you want to hear about job leads from.
You can increase or decrease your jobs radius in miles between 5 miles and 100 miles. When you get busy turn your jobs radius down. When things are quiet maybe consider increasing it to further afield. 100 miles is the maximum distance you can manually set your jobs radius to - however if you see a job which is further than 100 miles call us on 0845 519 0028 and we will manually send you the job lead invitation so that you can buy the lead.
We recommend setting the jobs radius quite high to start with and then reducing it as you get busier.
Only yourself and admin staff see your settings. However, passwords are encrypted so even we do not see those. This is to prevent hacking and even though we do not keep credit or debit card details we like to keep the site secure.
