'My jobs' is where job leads you have bought, and may be quoting on (or even have won the job), are stored. Once you buy job leads from 'Find Jobs' or 'My Matches' you can open them in 'My Jobs' so that you can keep track of customers and jobs that you are quoting on and chase reviews for jobs from customer to build your Top TradesPeople profile in The Top Tradespeople Directory.
Here you can send quotes to customers on job leads you have bought and progress your job leads through from initial quote, to hopefully acceptance of your quote by customers, right through to getting those valuable job reviews to build up your profile in the Top TradesPeople tradesman directory which will help you win more of the jobs you give quotes for.
You can also send quotes to customers from 'My Jobs' and correspond with customers about jobs you want to quote on. Simply click on 'more info' from your list of job leads to view the job lead details and also the customer details. You'll also find a message box there to send messages to customers, but in reality it's often easier to speak to customers on the phone. Calling customers in the first instance is highly recommended as the quickest way of getting in touch with them whilst they're still keen on receiving calls from tradesmen wanting to quote. You'll also find customer contact details listed on the job lead page too.
Do not forget to complete jobs here so that customers can give you a review for your jobs and help you win more of the quotes that you give.
Remember too - to get reviews you must give quotes through your Top TradesPeople account. No-one sees your quote but the customer, yourself and our back office admin staff who monitor the message board in case of abuse of the Top TradesPeople system.
We do not reveal your quotes anywhere else on the website. Other quoting tradesmen competing for the job you are after DO NOT see your quote. We consider it private.
We do ALWAYS recommend that you contact customers directly via telephone as soon as you get their contact details to offer to give them a quote - this is so that the job lead does not go cold and you can get in touch with them quickly. Once you have assessed the job you can then give them a quote through your Top TradesPeople account in 'My Jobs', or direct.
