How Do I Receive Leads with Top Tradespeople

We send lead alerts via SMS (there is a small charge for SMS job lead alerts), and by email (there is no charge for job lead alerts via email).  You must have a genuine email address to be a member on Top Tradespeople as a supplier.  i.e. the email must be able to receive emails.  This is part of the conditions of your continued membership of Top Tradespeople as a supplier.

You can choose to have leads sent via SMS and you will need to add some SMS alert job credits for this.  You can top up with SMS text alert credits quickly and easily in your account when logged in.

If you do decide to get SMS text alerts about jobs you will get a brief summary of the job lead and a code to text back should you decide you want to take the lead.  When you text the code back to take the lead then your job lead credit balance will be debited with the number of credits required to take the lead.

If you receive job lead alerts via email then you can simply click through to the site to view the initial details of the job lead. To take the lead and receive the customer contact details you will need to ensure you have credits on your account. You can top up with job lead credits in your account when logged in.  If you have credits and choose to take a lead then your balance will be debited with the number of credits that are required to take the lead.  The number of credits required to take the lead will be clearly marked on the lead page itself.  When you take the lead the contact details of the job poster who wants to get quotes will be revealed and you will also receive an email with further information. You can also contact the customer directly through the user interface on Top Tradespeople, however any messages sent through the interface apart from those to tradespeople and job posters from administrators of the site will only be available for 30 days.  After this time, messages between customers (job posters) and tradespoeple (member tradespeople / suppliers) will be removed from the site due to storage capacity limitations.

Get in touch with the customer as quickly as possible (usually by phone or email is best) to discuss the project in more detail and to arrange a quote.
