Credits are the currency of the Top Tradespeople platform. Credits are exchanged for job leads and the number of credits required to take a job lead will be displayed on the individual job lead page when a supplier logs in. The average lead costs 5 credits and job leads range from 0 credits (free leads) to 25 credits (larger jobs like kitchens, bathrooms and house extensions).
You'll need to top up with credits from time to time (unless you have a monthly membership plan), and you can do this securely through your Top Tradespeople supplier account. You can then use up the credits to take leads which catch your eye and which are in the areas you cover and are the type you have confirmed you want to quote on.
The average job lead costs just a few credits and once you've exchanged credits for leads you will be able to quote on the job requested by the homeowners who submitted the quote request.
The number of trade pros who are able to take the lead is limited so competition is low, and whilst there are is a maximum of 3 tradespeople who can take the lead, in reality it's usually 1-2 members who respond. Naturally, leads in more popular areas and for more popular trades, or larger value job leads get taken more than those which are in rural areas or which are lower value.
