EDPM roofing can be a bit more expensive than felt if you think about it on a per square metre price. However, that’s the wrong way to look at things. If you look at the cost divided over the lifespan of the roof, the cost is often less every year than felt or other alternatives.
Expect to pay between £85 and £100 per square metre for an EPDM roof including fitting, compared with £60 to £80 for felt. But as your EDPM will last twice as long, it’s a better investment in the long run.
