If speaking to your tradesperson about the job has got you nowhere it is important that you put your grievances in writing to them so that you can refer back to this if necessary. Often a letter will do the trick and the matter can be dealt with amicably between yourself and the tradesman.

If speaking to the tradesperson and writing to the tradesperson has got you no satisfaction you should consider contacting Trading Standards about your job and seeking their advice. Try other courses of action first.
Can Top Tradespeople Get Involved?
No. We don't get involved with disputes between tradespeople and customers however you are welcome to write a review of your tradesperson who has carried out the job for you. As tradespeople know that you are able to write a review this often acts as a deterrent to poor quality tradesmen anyway so hopefully this won't happen.
